Green jobs potential in Lviv and Volyn regions

The research paper includes an assessment of the current number of green jobs in the Lviv and Volyn regions, an analysis of the potential of the regions to create green jobs in the context of the current socio-economic situation and prospects for post-war reconstruction, an analysis of potential providers of educational services in the formation of personnel which is necessary to ensure a just transition of regions. The document also contains recommendations for various stakeholders on the development of the market for green jobs in the context of the just transformation of coal regions.

The research paper is prepared within the project “Just Transition in Coal Regions and Green Recovery of the Energy Sector in Ukraine”, implemented by GIZ.
